The goal of the game is to move the tiles on the board, until each row or column contains the same tile. Depending on the game mode, the challenge is to do this with the least number of moves possible, or as fast as possible. The difficulty also depends on the board size, ranging from 4x4 to 8x8 tiles!

Enigmatica features:

• Board sizes ranging from 4 by 4 tiles to 8 by 8 tiles.
• 3 sets of colorful tiles, including plain colored tiles, tiles containing numbers, and marble tiles.
• 3 modes of play:
  • Normal Game: complete the board with the least number of moves possible.
  • Timed Game: complete the board as fast as possible.
  • Challenge Mode: complete the board within the time limit and the maximum number of moves allowed. When you succeed, you will get a harder challenge, and more points will be awarded!
• Demonstration game, to teach the player how to complete a board.
• Topscores screen, showing all best scores and times at a glance.

You'll need to gain insight, and learn the tricks of the game, to complete all challenges!
